SAI Goods, Inc. (“SAI Goods,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy applies to information collected through store.saigoods.com and interactions related to orders placed through the store.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Contact information, including your name, email address, telephone number, and shipping address.
- Order information, including products, quantities, prices, discounts, shipping charges, taxes, and order status.
- Payment transaction information. Payments are processed by Square, and we do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number.
- Communications you send to us, including customer-service and return requests.
- Technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, browser and device information, approximate location, traffic source, and store interactions.
- Cart information stored in your browser so selections can remain available while you shop.
How we use information
We use personal information to process and fulfill orders, calculate and arrange shipping, provide tracking, send receipts and service messages, respond to requests, prevent fraud, protect and maintain the store, analyze store usage, keep business records, and comply with applicable law.
Payments
Payments are processed through Square. Payment information entered at checkout is transmitted to Square for processing. SAI Goods receives transaction details and payment status but does not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
Service providers and disclosures
We may disclose information to companies that perform services for us, including:
- Square for payment processing.
- UPS and Shippo for address validation, rates, shipping, labels, and tracking.
- Supabase for order and customer-data storage.
- Resend or SendGrid for transactional emails.
- Google Analytics for store traffic and ecommerce analytics.
- Vercel for website hosting and related technical services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or users, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.
Analytics, cookies, and browser storage
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and ecommerce activity. It may collect page views, product interactions, approximate location, browser and device type, and traffic source. Our current configuration disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, street addresses, or payment information to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may use cookies, including the _ga cookie. You can limit cookies through browser settings or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
The store uses browser storage to retain shopping-cart selections. Disabling browser storage may prevent parts of the store from working correctly.
Promotional email
We currently use customer email addresses for transactional messages such as receipts, shipping updates, and customer support. If we introduce promotional email in the future, we will provide appropriate notice and a working unsubscribe method and will honor opt-out requests as required by law.
Selling personal information
SAI Goods does not sell personal information. We currently do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Certain order, payment, tax, accounting, and fulfillment records may be retained for up to seven years or longer when required by law. Other information may be deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain personal information, or to opt out of certain disclosures. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Some information may be retained when necessary to fulfill an order, maintain tax or accounting records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or comply with law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Children’s privacy
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, practices, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted with an updated effective date.
